CI Global Asset Management has come to market today with plans to launch a new ETF suite focused on targeting downside volatility. The new ETFs expected to launch late January 2023 are called, the CI Global Minimum Downside Volatility Index ETF (CGDV) and the CI U.S. Minimum Downside Volatility Index ETF (CUDV). Both funds will be available for trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange with an estimated launch of January 24, 2023. A quote from the Executive Vice-President and Head of Distribution at CI GAM states, “At a time of heightened market volatility, these ETFs will provide a well-designed defensive component to investors portfolios..”
