Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. has just announced the launch of the Harvest Canadian Equity Income Leaders ETF (HLIF) looking to give investors exposure to a diversified monthly income vehicle. Harvest has stated that the goal of HLIF is to give monthly cash distributions, the opportunity to gain capital appreciation, and to overall lower the volatility than owning directly. The investing strategy of HLIF will be to write covered calls for up to 33% of the securities in the portfolio.
