Researchers at the Human Genome Project have been working since 2003 to fully render the human genome and have finally had a breakthrough rendering the missing 8%. This advancement could help scientists to better understand evolution of the body and possible medical advancements. The Franklin Genomic Advancements ETF (HELX) is one of four funds in the genomic market and one of only three actively managed which follows companies that stand to benefit from genomic advancements in research and technology.
