PIMCO Launches Active Commodity Strategy ETF

PIMCO has launched a new ETF called the PIMCO Commodity Strategy Active Exchange-Traded Fund (CMDT), which aims to provide investors with potential returns from commodity investments, a hedge against inflation, and further diversification for their portfolio. The fund will invest in a range of commodity-linked instruments and will be managed by five portfolio managers. PIMCO believes that commodities historically act as an effective hedge against inflation and that they are a compelling option for investors looking for a well-diversified portfolio.

ETF Newz Says:

The ETF is actively managed and can be traded on the NYSE from May 10th.
