Morgan Stanley Investment Management Launches Five New ETFs

Morgan Stanley Investment Management, a firm with $1.4 trillion in assets, has introduced five new exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on NYSE Arca. This expansion aligns with industry trends and growing client demand for active management expertise from Eaton Vance and Parametric. The new offerings comprise both equity and fixed-income products.

Equity Products:

  1. Parametric Equity Income ETF (PAPI) aims to provide both income and capital appreciation while offering downside protection.
  2. Parametric Hedged Equity ETF (PHEQ) seeks to achieve income and capital appreciation with a focus on protecting against downturns.

Fixed-Income Products:

  1. Eaton Vance High Yield ETF (EVHY) focuses on high-yield fixed income.
  2. Eaton Vance Ultra-Short Income ETF (EVSB) is designed for ultra-short-term income.
  3. Eaton Vance Intermediate Municipal Income ETF (EVIM) concentrates on intermediate municipal income.

ETF Newz Says:

These newly launched funds complement the firm’s existing ETF platform, which includes six Calvert-branded ETFs. The existing funds have collectively managed over $400 million in assets as of September 2023.
