KraneShares To Launch ESG Oceans ETF

KraneShares is planning to launch an ESG-focused exchange traded fund that provides exposure to companies that are pursuing healthier oceans. The KraneShares Rockefeller Ocean Engagement ETF will offer exposure to “ocean related companies” that include water infrastructure and technology firms, aquaculture operators, commercial fishing businesses, recreational marine product companies, tourism and leisure companies, and others that are considered ocean leaders, solution providers and improvers. While the fund has not yet listed any holdings or ticker symbol, it is expected to trade on the New York Stock Exchange and share some similarity to other water-related funds on the market, such as Invesco Water Resources ETF, Global X Clean Water ETF, and Ecofin Global Water ESG Fund.
