Kotak Mutual Fund launches open-ended fund of fund scheme investing in Kotak Silver ETF

Kotak Mutual Fund has launched an open-ended fund of fund scheme that invests in units of the Kotak Silver ETF. The Kotak Silver ETF Fund of Fund is open for subscription until March 27. The fund’s launch follows the release of data showing that silver as a commodity provided protection during crises, such as during the recent Russia-Ukraine conflict, where silver prices surged by 12% while the Nifty 50 fell by 10%.
