iShares Launches REIT ESG ETF

BlackRock’s iShares has just announced the launch of a new ETF looking to target real estate and REIT positions and environmentally sustainable development companies. The fund is called the iShares Environmentally Aware Real Estate ETF (ERET) and it plans to track the FTSE EPRA Nareit Developed Green Target Index. The index chooses their holdings by based on a minimum level of 30% green certification and 10% in reducing energy usage.
