Interactive Brokers Launch Overnight Trading For 24 U.S. ETFs

The global company Interactive Brokers has today announced the launch of a new overnight trading hours to a few ETFs in the U.S. using the IBKR Eos ATS. The launch will allow trading to commence for 23 1/2 hours for five days each week. A quote from the EVP of Marketing and Product Development states, “Global investors need to respond to market-moving news whenever it happens, not just during regular US market hours.” There’re 24 ETFs that can now be overnight traded, FXI ,SPY, EEM, GLD, SLV, DIA, UNG, TLT, IWM, QQQ, USO, SH, RWM, PSQ, AGG, DOG, EWA, EFA, EWJ, IJH, VTI, XLF, XLE, and XLK.
