Global X Launches PropTech ETF

Global X ETFs has launched the Global X PropTech ETF (PTEC), which aims to provide exposure to companies benefiting from innovations in property technology. The real estate market is valued at over $325tn globally, and the fund’s holdings include companies working on property management software, internet-of-things-based property monitoring, and virtual reality tours. PTEC seeks to track the Global X PropTech Index and has an expense ratio of 0.50%.

Pedro Palandrani, Director of Research at Global X ETFs, said the launch allowed the firm to “offer investors exposure to companies investing in the technology that should meet the needs of this vast, addressable market.”
