Global X Launches CLIP ETF, Providing Exposure to Short-Term Treasury Bills

Global X ETFs has introduced the Global X 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF (CLIP), expanding its suite of Income products. CLIP offers investors exposure to the short-term Treasury bill market, presenting an appealing alternative to cash positions during periods of elevated interest rates. Treasury bills provide potential income with relatively low interest rate risk due to their short-term nature. The ETF, which aims to mirror the Solactive 1-3 month US T-Bill Index, comes with a transparent and cost-effective structure, featuring a total expense ratio of 0.07%. Global X aims to cater to investor needs and maintain flexibility amidst the current uncertain macroeconomic environment.
