F/m Investments Launches Actively Managed ETF XFIX for Broad Access to Opportunistic Fixed Income Strategy

F/m Investments LLC, a subsidiary of Diffractive Managers Group, LLC, has introduced the F/m Opportunistic Income ETF (XFIX) on the NASDAQ, expanding access to a strategy initially launched by affiliate Genoa Asset Management in 2009. XFIX aims to maximize total return by identifying undervalued and opportunistic sectors and securities in the US fixed income markets, utilizing a flexible approach. It invests in various instruments, including corporate and municipal bonds, government securities, mortgage-backed securities, preferred stocks, and specialty issues. The ETF employs a dynamic investment process focusing on relative value, security selection, nimble trading, and capital redeployment. The lead portfolio manager is Peter Baden, who has managed the corresponding separately managed account strategy since its inception. XFIX is being launched through North Slope Capital, known for its white-label ETF and mutual fund solutions, and it follows their innovative US Treasury ETF suite, further expanding their presence in the ETF and mutual fund space.
