DoubleLine Launches Two Active Management ETFs for Residential and Commercial Real Estate Investments

DoubleLine, an investment firm founded by Jeffrey Gundlach, has launched two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the NYSE Arca exchange. The DoubleLine Mortgage ETF (DMBS) aims to seek total return that exceeds the total return of its benchmark, the Bloomberg US Mortgage-Backed Securities Index, investing primarily in high-quality residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS). The portfolio managers are Jeffrey Gundlach, Vitaliy Liberman, and Ken Shinoda. The DoubleLine Commercial Real Estate ETF (DCRE) seeks current income and capital preservation, investing in senior commercial real estate debt through investment grade commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). The portfolio managers are Morris Chen, Mark Cho, and Robert Stanbrook.

ETF Newz Says:

Both ETFs use active management through security selection and maintain a low level of interest rate risk.
