Calamos Investments Plans Convertible High Delta ETF Launch

Calamos Investments, a prominent player in convertible bond funds, has recently filed to enter the exchange-traded fund (ETF) market. This move comes almost four decades after the company’s initial mutual fund offering. The upcoming Calamos Convertible High Delta ETF (CVRT) is anticipated to launch in the third quarter.

John Calamos, the chair and global chief investment officer of Calamos Investments, highlighted the evolving investor preferences and the increasing demand for sophisticated ETF solutions. The company aims to cater to this demand by bringing its expertise to the ETF space.

ETF Newz Says:

There is approximately $235 billion worth of convertible bonds outstanding in the US and $364 billion globally. However, there are only seven US-listed ETFs focused on convertible bonds.
