Charles Schwab’s Bond ETF sees massive inflows in a model-portfolio boom

Share post:

The Charles Schwab Corp. bond ETF has experienced a significant increase in inflows over the past week. On Thursday, around $2.6 billion entered the Schwab 5-10 Year Corporate Bond ETF, following a similar inflow of nearly $2 billion on Monday. As a result, the assets in the ETF have grown more than ten times from the end of last week, making it the US ETF with the largest inflows tracked by Bloomberg over that period. This trend indicates the growing popularity of model portfolios, which are pre-packaged investment portfolios designed to meet specific objectives and risk tolerance levels.

ETF Newz Says:

Model portfolios have become increasingly popular among investors seeking a simple and cost-effective way to manage their investments, and this trend is likely to continue as investors continue to seek out more efficient and convenient investment solutions.
