First Trust Launches Emerging Market Democracies ETF

One of the leading ETF providers, First Trust, has today announced the launch of the fund, the First Trust Bloomberg Emerging Market Democracies ETF (EMDM). EMDM will track its respective Bloomberg Emerging Market Democracies Index looking to offer exposure to are of emerging market where political rights and civil liberties are held in high regards, with each country qualifying as Electoral Democracies. A quote from the Head of Index Product at Bloomberg states, “Bringing new ideas to market is a principal focus areas for Bloomberg Indices as we recognize the opportunity for inquire benchmarks that address specific interests, such as values-based investing. We’re exited to see First Trust take one of these great ideas forward to investors…”
