BNP Paribas AM Launches Biodiversity ETF

BNP Paribas Asset Management has recently announced the launched of a new biodiversity ETF, the BNP Paribas Easy ESG Eurozone Biodiversity Leaders PAB UCITS ETF. The fund plans to track the Euronext index which follows 60 companies based on their impact to biodiversity. The calculations are made using Iceberg Data Lab’s ‘Corporate Biodiversity Footprint’ score. Any companies related to coal mining, controversial weapons, uranium, gas, and tobacco will be excluded from the fund.

BNP Paribas AM stated the launch of the fund was in response to growing interest of United Nations SDG 15.
