First Trust has just announced the launch of the FT Cboe Vest Fund of Nasdaq-100 Buffer ETFs (BUFQ). BUFQ was created with the goal of providing investors a risk management strategy. That strategy involves investing a majority of its assets into four FT Cboe Vest Nasdaq-100 Buffer ETFs which are the underlying ETFs. Using a laddered approach, BUFQ will seek to give investors a buffer against the first 10% lost based on the price return of the Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (QQQ).
