BlackRock has just announced the launch of a financial wellness program intended to help professional basketball prospects to learn and gain wealth. The iShares Future Baller$ Program will set aside a portion of their athletes sponsorship money into a portfolio where they can watch and discuss their investments with a financial mentor. The initiative from BlackRock comes after a survey of 1000 people showed less than one in three actually feel confident in their investment ability or knowledge.
