HSBC Asset Management has announced the closing of its HSBC MSCI EM Far East UCITS ETF (HMFE). The cease in operations comes as HMFE struggles to find a foothold with European investors stating that HMFE has fallen below an economically viable size.

This is now the second closure for HSBCs geographic ETFs as the HSBC MSCI South Africa Capped UCITS ETF (HZAR) closed in March.
