Principal Global Investors has recently announced plans to convert six ETFs including their largest, into actively managed rather than passive. The ETFs looking to change are: The Principal US Mega-Cap ETF, the Principal US Small-Cap Multi Factor ETF, the Principal Value ETF, the Principal Quality ETF, the Principal Healthcare Innovators ETF, and the Principal Millennials ETF.

The change is expected to take effect sometime in July with shareholder approval not required. Instead they must approve new investing restrictions.
