Commodity ETFs Continue to Outperform

Commodity ETFs continue to outperform and are an excellent hedge against inflation. The Invesco DB Commodity ETF (DBC) is up over 40% year over year. Ishares GSCI Commodity ETF (GSG) is up over 47% year over year. United States Commodity Fund ETV (USCI) is up nearly 40% year over year.

Up until last year, commodities had been bearish to flat for 6 years, but last year saw a big increase with inflationary pressures. The Russia/Ukraine conflict is already impacting Wheat and Rare Earth Minerals.
